I heard a bird once
tell another bird:
"The Sky has chosen me
and told me
you and all other birds
should stay on this tree
and i only
will go to the sky
to bring its messages"
Two things strike me
in this story:
One is that the Sky
touches the tree,
and the wings of the birds
at all times.
The other
is that wings are to birds
what the mind is to men.
